Spoke to Ian last night. He's in Fuucecchio, Tuscany.Finding the heat difficult and the climbs more so.Decent internet connection in public places is rare but hoping to "get lucky at Lucca".Ps Ian has never been able to dictate to me. I would tell him very quickly what to do with himself and his iced tea.
Day 26, Ian has reached Sestri Levante, which is at the very top of Italy where it arches around into France. The coast is rocky and full of steep climbs. Mostly staying at religious houses or back packing hostels.Temperatures are now in the low 20's so more comfortable. Walking himself fit and checking out the local wines along the way. He's still having problems uploading photo's but he says everything is going well and the experience is good. David (his younger brother)
