Gosh.... what a lot of snow you had over Aubrac!! I know what you mean about Le Puy to Conques almost being complete on its own. I might even repeat that section one day.
Ian, I am giving a talk to a local tramping club soon, and I would like to show one of your photos with snow on Aubrac, to show them what conditions can be like. If that is OK, I will pinch a screen shot. (I had rain there, though there had been snow a few days before me, and the day after me: I just got lots of rain and mist and no views!)
